Swap question

I have a 98 Suburban with a 5.7 in it that is knocking bad

I may have found a 8.1 for it

Both are vortec's what else can I expect to change for the swap?

Chip would be my first guess what else ?

yup it sure did seems that its a throttle by wire so its out if it was my toy maybe but its the wife's DD so its out
