Swap ?'s

Pulling the th400/208 out and dropping in a 350/205 and need to know if I will have any starter mounting differences/issues? Flexplate issues?

I imagine not but as this is my first old style chevy I'm learnin a few thigns as I go.

I figured but knowin my luck I'd have everythin ready and somethin would go wrong lol.

I hope you have the cross members because that will be major difference, also the 208 is a slip yoke,the 205 is not, the 400 is also a bit longer than the 350 but you will need to mod drive shafts any how

I have everything to bolt it all up, xmember, side brackets all new poly bushings. I already know about drivelines and hopefully I'll have the scratch to get both front and rear done at high angle...Theres a good chance I might be leavin VA end of march and I'll be driving back home so I know I'll need 4x4

It'll be a pretty quick swap hopefully cuz its my DD, doin the lift, xover steering, 14BFF and throwin in the tranny/tcase all at the same time. LOL
