I've already done some searches and haven't found exaclty what I'm looking for, so here goes, eventually, I'm going to be swapping in a sb400, TH400, and GM 203/ford 205 into my '93 Blazer(I have all the major parts just no time or $$$) and wanted some insight into what's involved. The two biggest questions i have are will the fuel injection parts easily adapt to the 400 and what's required to make the transmission operate correctly. And any other info is greatly appreciated.:ears:
Thanks.

I swapped in a TBI 406 in my old pickup, originally 350, and didn't do anything. Everything from the old motor bolted on like it was factory. Don't need anything to run that tranny/t-case setup, but will need a VSS. There are a couple companies that sell the sensors that screw in the speedo on the tailshaft, and convert to electric. Weird, I plan on doing the same thing when I get my 92, but it will be a 454 :)

Are you saying you plan to adapt the TBI from the 93 to the SB400? It can be done possibly....but will require a reprogram to run anywhere near right.

If you are doing this on the cheap, i'd run a carb.

I didn't swap anything to my computer, and it ran fine. Even had a mild cam in it. Drove it 4 hours at a time, put 7500 miles on it before I sold it.....
