Swapping tubs on a Blazer

My friend has a 78 with 3/4 ton axles. The body is GONE. We found a 82 for cheap. Can we swap the tub onto the 78 frame?

IIRC the frame change was 79 so without alot of custom body mount and floorpan work not a direct swap.

The rear passenger footwell was added in 77 so this 80s tub should swap right on to his 78

Definitvely...'77 no rear footwell, '78 first year for rear footwell. The tub will sawp over easily.
