sway bar bushing

been trying too replace them on our 1977 pickup, without much success. when we finaly got one in place it rip the bushing. is there a special tool or way off replacing them.will bring a camara this afternoon.
 
I'm not sure I've ever heard of anyone replacing stock sway bar bushings...
 
my cousin owns a machine shop. he made a kind off funnel shape cone to slide them in . had two new bushing and they both cut ,sliding them in . used a bolt to make a puller. how did you get them in chicken joe.
 
yeah i went though this and it sucks. i even went to my GM dealer where a buddy of mine works he had never replaced them. before i went i looked up the tool part number i even talked to the shop foreman. well lets just say he hadn't used the tool in ten years and couldn't tell where to start looking for it. then i looked here

they work awesome fit just like a glove. when you call just tell them your a member here. a lot of guys here take them of so they can flex more some want them for sable reasons.
