Have ORD leaf springs, and vertically mounted shocks mounted in mostly the same place as a 4 link kit. I have been cruising around for a few years with out a sway bar. It has been sketchy! I got an ORD disconnectable kit and went to mount it last week only to find my shocks are in the way. I see the Anti rock sway bar kit on the ORD site. But its not disconnectable. Im sure I could fab it up to make something work. Wanted to get some opinions on what other people are doing?

A lot of people need to consider the alternative option of putting a REAR sway bar on and disconnecting it when called for. I never see this talked about but it's a great option for those of us with "less than stock" front ends.

I ran a Helwig rear bar for a 3/4 ton Suburban.
Did I need new links for my lift, yes.
Did it need spacers on the axle side, yes.
Was it easier than a front sway bar, yes.
Did it make a big different on the street AND dunes....definitely.
Does a front sway bar work better, yes. Is it always an option...no. ORD didn't even have theirs when I ran the Helwig.

Now...I don't run any bar. The bar was an experiment that works great on the freeway, but was installed for its positive effects at the dunes. I am not slower on the roads than anyone, unless I want to be. ORD52/56

How hard would it be to move the shocks behind the axle, kind of a like stock location?
They are big shocks that go all the way up through my inner fender and onto the custom shock hoops for coil overs. I decided to swap the sway bar kit out with the custom AntiRock ones used for Coil overs on the site. So far they are looking like it will work nicely. Im waiting to bend the driver side swaybar arm to fit around my pitman arm at full turn. Hopeing to get that done by the end of the weekend. I will post pictures for reference
