When doing the ORD sway bar disconnect, do I need to remove a spacer that was installed on the frame for the 6" lift? The steering ( crossover) and sway bar hit during Right steering input near lock. Thanks again floks!

Waaaa?

The block should stay to correct for the extra lift. But I think you go something funny going on. FACTORY sway bars and crossover steering don't work together.

Yes
I have not yet seen a setup that uses both and WORKS.
You probably won't even notice it's gone.

^Yup. The change kinda depends on what springs you have, but even if it's noticeable, it's not a negative thing...just kinda different. I have the ORD x-over on my D60. Octane's right, never seen a factory sway bar with this setup. and only seen an aftermarket swaybar work with some pretty extensive fabbage.

I concur. It sounded crazy to me at first when ORD said not to use my sway bar when doing the 1 ton conversion with crossover steering, but I can vouch that the truck handles amazing on/off road. Easy and precise steering, even at highway speed. I had both their weld-in and bolt-on steering braces done at the same time as the 1 ton/crossover swap so I can't say which components did the most, but either way it's a pleasure to drive.

Ok. Good and bad. Good that I don't have to worry about space and them hitting each other and bad that I just spent cash on the ORD disconnects. Oh well. Add more money to the wasted cash pile. Thanks gang!
