need a bit of info ... i have a 82 blazer with a 6in. lift on 35 in. tsl's i recently took off the front sway bar and was wondering if this would affect my driving ?? looking for pro's and con's !

You don't need that crap. If you decide to put it back on, I have a few extras that will never get used at my house.:D

Its not really neccesary. Sometimes people like them for pick-up trucks that are used to carry top heavy loads, but in a blazer I think they are totally useless.

i don't run one with my 4" lift. only drawback is that i think it may contribute to my bump steer (not bad). but, the fact that the shocks are tired and i don't run overload springs up front could account for that.

I have a six inch lift and just bought some sway bar diconnects from ORD from another feller and. for the first two months I never disconnected them Then one day I finally did and now I have yet to put them back. There really is no difference The first two turns were wierd then nothing, I have yet to really twist it out since then and I notice the extra distance it travels and that takes some getting used to but it is cool.
Why does any of this mean anything. Well cause Like you are hearing or reading now many people told me to get rid of it. Including one guy who told me almost twice a month for two yrs. (oats) I said no way I like my sway bar and I do but there is really no difference so I say it is up to you but I say GET RID OF IT!!! GOOD LUCK

Good point about the worn out old springs...I've driven beaters with really thrashed stock springs that were a little squirrelly without the sway bar. (even then, it wasn't bad, just noticeable). But with any kind of even halfway good condition springs, toss it!
