I dont drive my K5 much on the road but when I do its probably to work which is 80 miles. I was thinking of permanetly removing the front sway bar, bad idea?? How bad could it be considering most of the trucks and cars Ive had were made before a sway bar was invented LOL.

Do you have lift springs? If so, then I would remove it. If not, the stock springs are most likely too soft which would give you body roll.
You can always take it off and drive around to see if you like it or not. They are easy to remove and replace.

Cool, BTW it has a Rancho 4" kit. Not that Id win a contest of who`s got the lightest K5 by the looks of some of your rigs but my pile of unneeded junk is growing and soon to out weigh the actual vehicle:haha:

Rancho springs are pretty stiff. Removing the sway bar should improve your ride. Highly doubt you will miss it.

I have Eplorer Pro Comp springs on my rig, never even tried it without the swaybar in place, as I got a used disco kit, that also fixed the angle of the swaybar. I haven`t driven the rig in about a year, and it will be alot different from the last time I drove it. Maybe I`ll give it a shot
