I would like to see some pics of front swaybar setups with crossover steering and liftkits to get some ideas on my build.

I had to take my sway bar off when I went to crossover not enough clearance surprisingly it didn't effect body roll to much just remember is a truck not a not a a Z06

Sway bars are for sissies.

adding a rear sway bar is soooooo much easier than doing a front with crossover. It will still help too. This is what I'm doing. I bought it from Hellwig (IIRC). I fits my 14b, just needed longer end links (Energy Susp) and away I go. I have all this, just haven't installed. Irish1941 has pretty much the same thing. I will be installing for my 3.5hr trip to Pismo Dunes. It will make the truck easier to drive that distance and better handling out at the dunes.

Sway bar

I felt this customer should have a sway bay because it will mostly be a pavement pounder. I took the sway bay off and put new poly bushings in and on it and then flipped it over. I turned the u-bolt plate on the left side around. The right side plate I milled a flat spot on the inside edge and drilled and tapped it. Seems to work and clear everything with the minimal amount of flex the new 8" lift has.

What's up with that steering stabilizer I've never seen one like that

I noticed that also. Looks like a motorcycle shock. It should not have the coil on it. I bet the truck turns easier to the left than right.

I now guys who have tried to use pressurized shocks. Same issue. Needs to be dampening only. No rebound feature.

steering stabilizer

The spring is in the neutral position when the wheels are straight ahead. This make it return to center nicely when the caster has been changed with the caster shims in the 8" front springs. I will grab the brand and post it tomorrow when I am back out to the shop. It also seems to work pretty well at helping eat up a bit of bump steer from the angle of the drag link. It is an actual dampener, it came with the spring on it.
