I'd ask to see pics of the t-case shifter. I'm skeptical that it would have the 205 since almost all '79's had 203's behind automatics.

I personally looked at it since its only 4 miles from me and it does have the 205 in it. Actually crawled under and looked. But even with that its not worth 3k, Bandon is on the coast where it was originally from. The whole truck is a hidden rust bucket when you get under and look.
And this, my fellow CK5'ers, is why we're all here on this site together.

did you get to drive it? i`d think if the motor and tranny are what he says it is i`d be worth 2k regardless of the body...

We were going to test drive it cause my dad was the one actually looking to buy it. Never could get it started so dad said screw it.
