Saw this on the way home from school today and had to go back with the camera. Boggers a Dana 60, and 70, coilovers and powered by a sbc where can you go wrong.

Perfect waste of a straight '63 Chevy II body IMO.

Rene

I can think of better things to do with both the body and the running gear - rather than putting them together.

I am not usually a fan of them either, mostly because they are usually ghetto rigged and sloppy, this one on the other hand had some skill put into building it. I would love to have all that stuff under my k5

Alot of work went into that one at least. Looks like a purpose built mud rig but then again those coilovers could be soft and flexy. Im not a fan of trars for the most part but it realy depends on the car and amount of ghetto fab. That being said I do like that one.

Nothing worse than a lame car on a truck chassis that looks like 12" body lift. At least that one looks safe and isnt a sports car like a camaro or vette.

It needs a hood though!

That's what I was thinking while looking at the pics... it looks like a professional job. I'm not a fan but at least from what we can see it was done "right"...

It looked like they put the time into it to it and did it right (hydro assist, sway bars, rear disks). Not sure about the no hood and boggers, those things throw stuff everywhere, stuff you dont want in your engine. I was impressed, impressed enough to ride back with my camera

There is a build thread on pirate on that I believe, it was built for a tv comercial.

XXX Traction has some pretty sweet rigs they build, their nissan on 54s is pretty sweet.

Finally got around to reading the thread on pirate and I should have known... lavender bros. do some amazing work....
Oh, and yeah their Titan is SICK...

Here is the trar...

Is there a video of the actual Basura Blanco commercial that was actually built for???

:dunno:

i saw a 4th gen camaro on an s10 frame the other day. dumb, but at least 4th gen f-bodies are still pretty common. what annoyed me is when i saw a c3 vette body on a k5 frame. it was a hack job on a beautiful increasingly rare classic car.

That's frickin sweet, built right, and it's not a waste of anything.

Whether it's a street car or lifted w/ boggers someone's enjoying it, i don't see what else matters.
