I have an 88 k5 that is rusted beyond repair. I have basketball sized holes in the floor up front, I LIFTED the passenger seat out without undoing a single bolt. The only thing stopping the driver seat from falling through is the frame underneath. The tailgate is hanging on only because of the latch,. both hinges are dangling free. The back floor FLAPS in the wind! The seatbelts are just danling there because the rusted out of the support. Im getting major fumes in the truck too thanks to all the 'vents' mother nature has provided me.

Anyhoo I was wondering if a 88-91 regular pickup cab is a direct bolt on if I remove the blazer body?

that would be a trazer...

I know the front bolts on.. but i think the back cab mounts in the truck body are missing on the blazer...

A few here have done this...
I'm sure they will chime in...

88 is too new, the blazers kept the older body style, so you need a cab from 87 back:D as for the alignment of the body mounts some one here that has built a trazer will let you know

Don't you love how placing corrosive chemicals on your vehicle isn't labeled as vandalism if it's the road commission doing it?

I parked my parts blazer the other day and noticed a ratchet strap strung out behind it and all frayed. Turned out to be the other end of the ratchet strap that was holding my newly purchased axle in place inside the bed of truck :D . I get wet even with the top on, doors on, and all the windows up. You have to look on the bright side - think of all the weight savings from the missing sheet metal, and if you ever break down, you can Flintstone it home.

Rust is evil. There is no bright side except the reminder that everything on earth is temporary.
