Check out my setup fellas, let me know what you think? My buddy built this for me. He could build you anything you like!

Looks great.

Is there a way to lock it open?

Careful opening that beastie on a steep hill. :eek1:

Nice!!!

Can we get a closeup of the latch and Hinge side?

Thanks

For now we used regular bolts on the tire side and a pull pin with cotter pin on the left. The pull pin pulls right out with no problems. No latch to worry about undoing itself on the trail! Remember, this is homemade setup! lol.

No, but i'll just tell my buddy and he'll make it happen! Thanks for the tip.

I only mentioned it cause I had one on my wheeler for awhile and once when I went to open it while stopped on a steep trail, the thing just about took me right off my feet and tried to send me flying into the pucker brush.

Mine was just a mounted up tire, yours with a full can of gas & tools is going to be even heavier.

Nice set up, looks well built & very functional.

What I was looking for was a close up pic of the taillight area. Side shot and straight on if you could. What size tire is that?

Not bad, but in my way of thinking, the tire should always go behind the driver, not on the passenger side. Easier view from the closest mirror.

Nice setup. Question though, did you buy pieces from DIY4X to build this bumper? Just trying to figure out how this fit in the thread where Kert asked for pictures of stuff that HE has made for people.

Edit: I am talking about the thread in the vendor forum that DIY4X asked for pics of custom stuff that he has made for people and these pictures are put up saying that his buddy built them for him. I was looking at that thread earlier and was wondering how these bumpers fit in...
