i am looking for a swing away tire rack for my '73 k5 does anyone know where to find one or does anyone have a print to build one ? also does anyone have access to any sites specifically for restoration parts?? i have all the typical stuff like classic ind. , lmc truck , jc whitney ,ect. but they really don't cover the k5 , it's almost like they forgot how cool these trucks are.

JCW used to have the swing away carriers. With the advent of big tires they've become a bit unpopular, as they'll just tear your sheetmetal up, even, with, say, a 33" x 12.5". Cough. :doah:

That said you can find them used on Craigslist, Ebay, etc all the time.

LMC has a catalog specifically for Blazers, I don't know how that doesn't cover the K5.
