swing out carrier on pick up?

Hey ive wanted to do this for awhile on my truck like go and get a swing out tire carrier and put it on back of the pick up. how do you guys think that would go?

Dont know why it wouldnt work?
Theres been a couple neat design floating around here using a frame mounted type which will carry greater weight.
