Swinging gate style spare tire carrier

Hi guys, brand spankin' new to CK5.

Got the rear tire carrier that fits on the tailgate. Just the frame is all I got with the truck. Does anyone have one that's in one piece that they could take pics of so that I could gather up the hardware I need to put all the pieces together. Mostly the hinges... are there bushings? roughly how big? and the mounting hardware in general for the gate to the body... and the pieces that hold the spare wheel on. The misc bolts and rods(if any). Need pics of the hinges and multiple pics at diff angles of the part of the carrier that holds the spare tire.

First off, welcome to CK5. Once you become a paid member here you'll get the most out of this site.

Do yourself the biggest favor and forget about that style of tire carrier. Those play hell on the sheet metal. I used to have a valley brand many years ago on a previous blazer and after a short amount of time the sheet metal started to tear where the hinges bolt to the rear quarter panel. You should either build a rear bumper with a tire carrier or just keep the tire inside the rig where it originally was unless you're running something larger than a 35" tire.

Yea, I just took mine off and threw it in the dumpster because the tailgate is ripped in about 5 places and the rear quarter is cracked out around every hole.

Yeah, I wasn't planning on using it. I've heard the horror stories bout those type of tire carriers and oversized tires. I was trying to hopefully spend a few bucks to gather up the hardware needed for it and sell it to someone who wasn't running an oversized tire. I don't want to throw it away. I would rather invest a little into it and make some money off of it. So, if anyone has any pics or knows where to get the parts for one of these style carriers please let me know
