The second one looks sweet and I like the change in lighting when in use. The extra relays are smart and makes install (future add ons too) easy.

my question is do you need 6 switches? it does look cool and do you need them up there over the mirror?
not sure what your truck looks like inside.. do you have AC?

you could do what I did a lot cheaper (albeit that kit comes with 6x relays...

Yes I have ac. I want to add rock lights on board air and another light.

gotcha so then you need those spots for vents LOL...
yeah those other kits look good... guess that is your most obvious choices... id go with whichever is in the budget and nicest to you then.

I have thought about adding switches a fair bit. I made a panel for a friend and put it above the mirror like that. The down side was running the wires up there took a little patience to make fit well.
And you can't reach them while standing on the ground, at the door. His truck has about 5" of lift and 35" tires. Other than that, it works great because the switch lights don't get in your eyes.

thats the nice part it should be just a wire bundle not 50 different wires.

i dont want the cheapest necessarily but a spod that is popular in jeep community is upwards of 500 buck and there is no way i would do that. build myself before that

What I did for my buddy was ARB controls for both diffs and the compressor, then control wires for the relays of 3 light circuits, and illumination wire. I want to say that it was 8 wires...???

I did this. I like it but i'm going to have to move it eventually when I go Man u el. Probably end up in console. It has 3 switches for ARB and 3 for lights

I mounted mine to the Ash tray door. Easy to reach but a little hard to see what the switches are in the off position from the driver seat because of the curve of the dash. I'm thinking flipping it 180 will solve that problem.
