So, I'm going to SAS my '94 Burb. I've got a single-track D-60 front sitting in my yard. I'm also going to pick up a passenger-drop NP241 (out of a '91 Burb) in the next few weeks.

My question is this: is it a simple affair to swap the passenger drop -241 for the stock driver-drop -241? Will I run into fitment issues with the front driveshaft, shift lever, or ???

If I can do it, it'll make my life way easier/cheaper than finding a driver-drop D60...

1st thing i think of is the shift linkage is on the other side of the t-case. so a new shifter hole will be needed, along with covering up the old one.

me personally i would put a craigslist add to trade somebody for a ford axle. but thats just me. i think it would be alot less work.

Drive shaft would not be an issue, should be able to use the same for either side. But do you have room on the other side without any fitment issue? And shift linkage is the biggest issue as mentioned with placement of the shifter in cabin center hump.
