I am going to buy a 91' k-5. I plan to run 35" tires, should i run a 4" or 6" lift? Does either of these lifts require an SYE or Drive shaft mods?

4" If you lift the rear with a shackle flip, you should not need any driveline mods. You will need longer brake lines and shocks to start.

I run a 6 inch lift w/ shackle flip in rear. I am running the JB converstion SYE kit. With 6 inches of lift, the drive shaft angle will be fairly steep for a Daily Driver. SYE kit will help with the angle, and reduce vibration...oh, I also have the NP 241 that should be in yours, mine is an 89.

im planning on swapping in a 241+sye, id go sye if i was you, heard some bad stories bout slip yokes breaking at the wrong times
