i need to retain the electric speedo, and would like to run a driveline brake if at all possible. what are my options? :ears:

Jesse at HAD has a SYE kit that is the short version and will work with the electric speedo and you can use his driveshaft brake kit as well.

might as well get a rebuild kit
all the seals and the plastic shift fork sliders
i think they are 40-50 bucks

hell, i'm rebuilding the axles, and now you suggest the transfer case. i might as well do the tranny while i'm at it.

got a good running 350 in the truck now. i want to get it "done" by spring for the Lima jambo, and if i run that engine, it saves me time and $$$ for the rest of the build. then i can build the engine and do the bodywork after Indy in September. i went to my first jambo in '92, and always swore that i'd be cruising the fairgrounds in my own truck one day. 14 years later, i just may make that happen.

after Lima this year, i wanted to get this truck done for Indy. a couple snags later, its not gonna happen in under a month. junk SAS kits, and a 2 week trip to Oregon while the show is going on really kills progress.

ive got the jb conversions standard length kit on my 91 (with electric speedo) with jessie's 1350 CV flange. Jessie said his driveline ebrake won't fit on the super short kit, so get the standard length one. i dont have the ebrake yet, but i'll add it in the future.
