pulled a spark plug, covered in oil. SOmeone suggested valve seals and probably guides. Is it worth the work or swap the heads? Anyone have success with guide sleeves?
My 89' Burb 350 does the smoke at startup thing. It's done that for the 6 years I have owned it. I looked into doing the stem seals and/or heads but everyone I talked to said live with it until it's shot and then rebuild the whole motor.
I don't get any smoke at high rpm however and it still passes AZ emissions.
