synthetic winch line as tow strap?

so my trusty strap finnaly snaped. the winch line is stronger, 15 feet of winch rope takes up a lot less space and is alot lighter than 15 feet of 3 inch strap. my concern is that because it dosent strech as well as a strap it could cause some whiplash injurys. but as long as i got all the slack out before i pulled it should be fine right? any input? thanks guys

i dont think the synthetic line was made to be jerked on, so you still may break it

I guess it would probably work. I don't think I would make a normal practice of it. Definitely not meant to be jerked on, like you said. I might try it if I had to but not otherwise. That stuff is major bucks anyway.
