Our winch rope is made from high strength UHMWPE. 5/16" or 3/8" diameter, has a minimum breaking strength of 13,700 lbs and 17,900 lbs respectively. Comes with hook and 2 protective 10 ft nylon sheaths, one for drum heat protection and one for rock/abrasion protection. UV resistant. These come in 100 ft lengths.

Is there any way to get these winch ropes with a safety hook instead of the sling hook?

Let me see what i can do. I don't have a supplier for the safety thimbles right now, but i will look into it.

Who makes the rope itself. Just learning about this stuff. I see there is a Dyneema and a Kevlar rope on the market. I would guess 100 ft to be the standard length that came on my Warn M10000?

this is imported rope but made from uhmwpe same as dyneema. 100 feet is pretty standard, some can fit a bit more though.
