First off Im new to the forum and lovin it so far. My question for the masses is I currently tackled my first tranny rebuild (Th350) in my 72 jimmy and since I got the t-case (205) out I was thinkin I might as well ask for input on things to look at without check (new gaskets) really gettin into it too far (non existant budget). But I dont want to have trouble over something stupid 100mi down the road. Any advice and or suggestion are surely welcome

Thanks in advance jim

And thanks to a fellow member for getting this post where it goes

The 205 if almost bulletproof. If it didn't leak or make any weird nosies before, than I would leave it alone. Maybe clean the grime off of it and give it a coat of paint. If it had shifting issues, possibly twin stick it or rebuild the linkage (or find/make a bushing for it).

Where at in Mi are you?

Thanks just had some leaks Im in niles just above notre dame
