When I shift into 4wd hi and then hit a bump or something it pops out of gear, it doesnt feel very solid when I shift it just kindove clicks, any ideas??

check my post I made in this forum an hour ago /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

It sounds like what mine was doing before I had to break out the bungee to hold it.

Oh ya from my understanding the shift fork in you case is probably rounding off and need replacement.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark, and ask you if you have a body lift installed.
Do you have a body lift installed?

I have a 3" body lift on my truck, and I had to adjust the linkage as far out as I could, and still had to grind the bolt holes in the shift gate to keep mine in 4 hi. Mine was behaving the exact same way.

Just something for you to look at before you rip the transfer case out.

No I dont have a body lift but maybe ill look at the linkage and see what is going on, I did have to drop my t-casae 2 inches to stop vibs so maybe that messed it up.
Thanks
