t-case in an 83

I have a stock 83 k5 and am trying to figure out what tcase is in it but the tag has coroded. IT kinda looks like 203 but you can only see half of each number. So it might also say 208. It also has a another 2 in the part where the model number is.


So, what tcase came stock in this vehical and what does that last 2 mean on the model number?

Stock would be a 208 regardless of tranny.

Just to verify, is it aluminum or cast iron? Aluminum = 208.

So is this a good case?

It also says in the ratio part 261. So I am guessing that this is 26:1.

It's a good case, the ratio is 2.61.
