t-case info needed

I have a friend with a 465/203 combo and the t-case is bad and he wants to put a 205 behind the 465 instead (saving the 203 for future doubler). I have another friend that has a 205 from behind a 465 with the adapter and drive sleeve so i want to know if the 465 output shaft is the same for 203 and 205 cases.
 
Assuming the 205 is a pre '85 10 spline unit, yes it's a direct bolt up.

Edit: I just reread your post and saw the drive sleeve mentioned so it has to be the early set up. You're good to go. :thumb:

That's kinda what i thought but wanted to double check for him. My buddy isn't to knowledgeable in this department yet and i've never ran a 465 but i've never seen any mention of 203 versus 205 465 version being any different.
