T-case Pullout

I have a 92 Yukon and need to pull out the transfer case. i belaive its np205... Any tips before I start?

That's heavy if it is a 205, drain it first! That'll save some weight.

is it stock? if so it's not a 205. why do you need to pull it?

x2. should be a np241, with the driverside drop.

I think it is stock but really not sure. Transfer case started to whine so i drained it and gound metal and chunk of plastic. I guess it lost a bearing or something. Ill try and get a pic of it up.

i bet its not a bearing, its the shift fork, it needs new plastic(whatever) sliders on it. my guess

the metal circular shaped tag that is red has the model number stamped in it. but It's a 241.
