OK, an update!
I bought 4L60E transmission from a 4WD 07 silverado wih a 5.3. I am going to use that transmission so I don't have to swap the tailshafts in the 2WD trans I had. I think I'll be fine selling the 2WD transmission on ebay.
I found a NP241 on craigslist for a 89 Blazer about 100 miles away, he wants $175. Is that the right transfer case? I need a 27 spine input for this 4L60e. Can anyone confirm before I drive the 100 miles?
