Yes you do. I got mine fromdp90K5 but I am not sure if he still is selling them. Look on Ebay for "Clocking Ring" and you will find some.

Are there any good sources on what's involved with the whole clocking operation? Aside from searching here. And I plan to search over at Pirate.

I have looked into this, you will have to do some fab work if you want to keep the brace that goes to the t-case. The shifter linkage will hook up with some adjusting of it. Exhaust might be in the way if you have dual exhaust. If you have long tube headers the front DS might hit the collector.
But the only draw back that is stopping me from doing it is the front DS angle. You can get away with it if your suspension doesnt flex much but who wants that :D

Mine truck flexed pretty nicely and I never had a problem with my front driveshaft. I ground out the stops as much as I could and it never bound up or broke.

As far as info on how to do it. You will just need to look around here for all the info. I doubt you will find too much on Pirate. My pics show a lot of what I had to do. As far as the brace that goes to the back of the enigine, it's not that hard to make that work. I went to the hole that is cast into the tranny houseing instead of the back of the engine and it worked great. My linkage hooked right back up with no problem. My exhaust was a bit of a task but not as bad as you think. Instead of having your crossover pipe go in front of your t-case I made it go behind and above. Again all the pics are in my gallery.

I will be doing all of this again soon as I am going to be starting the new truck soon. It will begin with the suspension and then the drivetrain will be slapped in. It will be much easier to fab up everything with no body on the frame. Plus since I am making my own floor boards i will have plenty of room to move it as high as I want. ;)

I rotated my 241 up all the way. I still need to work out my exhaust. I run full length BBC headers and they don't hit the DL but just gotta route the pipe around the case. I took that rod that goes from the case to the engine bolt and cut it, installed each end and welded back together with the new twist.
