T-case/tranny help!

[82K5_6.5L]

to start things off..81 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 w/ 350 th400.

so its my dads truck,get a call saying the truck wont move! but he can put the tcase (208) into 4H, and the truck goes, hubs not locked, all driveshafts are ok. but it wont move an inch to save its life in normal 2H. what gives? any ideas??

Probably not really in 2WD from the sounds of it. Have him adjust the shift linkage first. It may fix it.
