I took a couple of rear output yokes off of 203 t-cases to use on my divorced dodge t-case and there were serated(sp?) foam looking washers in them. What's the deal with these? Are they needed? They look like they would let the yoke loosen up. All 3 dodge yokes and the 1 chevy 205 yoke didn't have them. If the foam things aren't needed I won't worry about putting them in, and think of the weight savings! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I believe they are for additional sealing around the splines.

Ok, I'll use the two that I have as the Chevy 205 that I got a yoke from did not have one.

Thanks
