T350 Rebuild Question......
I know that lower gears are available for T350's, but has anyone ever heard of installing a "close ratio" 2nd gear???
For example:
stock gears are 2.53, 1.53, 1.0
lower gears are (I'm guessing) 2.75, 1.75, 1.0
Could you mix/match to get: 2.53, 1.75, 1.0....??

I don't rebuild them , but I remember 1st and 2nd being both on the planetary gearset
Consulted an expert on this matter..... a very helpful guy named John Kilgore @ kilgoretrans.com ...
What I wanted to do does not exist.
John says the gears are trained together so that you can't just change the 2nd gear ratio and not the 1st.
So I guess it's a Powerglide for the next FunBuggy build...!

Figures . But hey , powerglides can be had anyway you want , don't even need a core anymore . Can get an aftermarket case with aftermarket internals
