Assuming it's not already on it's way out it should be fine. A "K" case is preferred (out of a 4WD truck) as they seem to be thicker. A TH350 is a pretty stout tranny, and can be upgraded to be beefier than a TH400. It's all depends on what kind of shape it's in.
