T400 to a 480LE

Has anyone changed out their turbo 400 and put in a 480LE? I was woundering what the differances were. Is the case and and adapter length longer? Is the output shaft length spline count different than mine? Right now I have a '90 Sub with a T400 and a NP241.

Output shaft is different length, same spline. It's about a 1" or so longer IIRC.

Stick out. Case length I would have to measure.
