tach hookup

hey guys i am installing a tach right now and want to know where i hook it up to my distributer. its a delco remy electronic distributer. the tach directions say the (-) side if the coil, but im not too familiar with an elec dist coil. thanks.

There are 3 connections on a dist....1 is to the module inside, 1 is to the battery(both of these should already be used) the other one is next to the BATT connection, that is where you hook the tach wire up too.

if you have HEI, which you should, i there is a slot for the tach, i think it even says "TACH" on it. next to the BATT like muddytazz said. couldnt be easier.
