I just looked on ebay and see factory tachs for the 73-91 are going for crazy money. What happened? These were always spendy but I never thought $400+.

They are really doing well but if you notice those aren't selling. The ones with auction type are selling for reasonable price. One of those is mine and I have another gas tach cluster with 6 digit odometer I'll be listing soon.

I gave away mine for $50 a couple of years ago
About 7 years ago I got one for $25 bucks but I had to remove it myself. The tabs are not broken on it.
