tail gate question

ive got a 78 k5 and my back window was broken out for quite awhile and the track that the window sits on is rusted and bent so im planning on getting a new tailgate.

so my question is what years of blazers will work? i mean just bolt right up. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

dont quote me, but I think 73-91 years will fit. It has to be from a blazer or k5 though, a 'burb has different hinges...

76 to 91 if I remember correctly. You need the one with the window in it.

Z3PR, your right, 76-91, I had that at first, but changed it to 73 because of the "1st gen", "2nd gen" senerio.

Umm, 73-75 have the window in the tailgate. It's the 69-72's that don't.

I have a CUCV (i.e. 86+) tailgate on my '74 and it works quite nicely.
