Hmmm...
That just might work... My seals are also shot on my tailgate, and they allow the gate to shimmy which causes it to squeak.... which gets really annoying about 5 miles into driving it...

I did take a good look at the seals again when I was at lowes this weekend. I'm having a little doubt it will seal. The seal is harder and I wasn't sure about the contours of the tailgate. It seems to roll over and not squish but I'm thinking it may work once installed.
