Tail light stuck on

I changed my right tail light and at first it was dim and now it will not turn off at all unless the truck is off. The front turning siginals still work as well as the left, but the right tail light is fully lit wether I am on the brake or not... so it won't flash and I almost got into an accident because of this yesterday.

Does anyone know what this could be? I doubt it is the flasher because everything still flashes, but that light just will not go out.

You probably put a bulb that had 1 contact on it vice 2 contacts that are required. The single contact will bridge the 2 connections in the socket and cause the light to constantly have power.

I did the exact same thing and it took me almost 2 weeks to figure it out
