where is the best place to put the tail pipes so the exhaust doesn't blow back in through the rear window i live in southern AZ with no ac so i drive with all the windows down a lot
 
Even with out the side if you're driving with the window down completely and the top on you'll be sucking fumes back in.
 
Re did the exhaust on the blazer this summer, side exit in front of back tire. Dont think I will do it again, with the window down you can smell exhaust.

Like said behind rear tires is the way to go.
 
for my K5... I orginally had the duel pipes runnning straight back. Got it changed to behind rear tires for this very reason ....didnt help much that I can tell.
 
I dumped mine under the truck right behind the rear axle with a 90 tip, doesnt suck it in to bad, just depends on the day.

I was contemplating turn-downs. I figure the amount of turbulence under there has got to get rid of some of that smell. Of course if you're stuck in traffic, prepare to feel "funny" after a couple minutes...
