Has anyone used the replacement tailgate support springs from LMC are they worth the $25 each or do they break within the year?

Just went on LMC no longer available
I made one out of spring steel. A bit hard to bend, not as pretty as OEM, but it's possible without a ton of effort. It's been on there a few years now.
I Can't find one to buy anywhere so I'll give it a shot wont be pretty
Yep. Just a lot of square bends instead of rounded, but easy enough to knock out with a vise and the previous spring (broken) to use as a template.
