I asked about this here about 12 years ago, but I'll ask again. When I replaced my factory rear bumper I ended up just removing and eventually losing those springs that help lift the tailgate. I'm just curious if most people with an aftermarket bumper are in the same boat, lifting that heavy-ass gate all the time, or if people are figure out a way to maintain that capability, or what? Dealing with that heavy gate is kind of a nuisance sometimes.
