Tailgate Hinge Pin and Bushing Replacement

I am restoring a 73 Blazer. My tailgate hinges are pretty much seized up. I could open and close it but it took a lot of force. I have bought a hinge pin and bushing kit. Any suggestions on getting the old pins out??

I've never had to take mine out but it looks like they come press fit from the factory like a lug stud. You should be able to hammer them out, heat and penatrating oil may help. I'm guessing that the way they go in, you would want to get them out that same way.
