Tailgate lock

Hi everybody, I'm back after a lonh hiatus, but the Blazer is still running strong, as usual. Anyway, I have a question.
I just bought a new (used) tailgate for my Blazer, but the guy I bought it from doesn't have the key. Is there any way to have one made for it? Maybe take some numbers off the inside of it? And no, I can't use my old one. I don't have an old one.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Just take the whole tumbler into a locksmith and they came have one made for about $10 - $15
