Tailgate probs. body sag?

My '81 Blaze tailgate is Off(alignment-sits alittle higher than sides) this makes the window stick going up/down. A body shop tells me the body is sagging and i should try and jack up the bed side and wedge hockey pucks to get the body level with the taigate.Anyone had this problem ? Any suggestions?
This is my first thread but i've been a loyal reader for many years.You guys have helped me with my '81 Blazer and '84 Jimmy, Thanks to everyone and to K5 for this site

Tail pan is proboly rusted same as mine and if that is rusted so is your other crossmembers proboly and the body mounts are proboly worn also.

Its the tail pan. Mine is rusted real bad and the hinges are seizing. It's hard to close and it is sagging a lot.
