tailgate repair

the K10 in my signature has heavy rust in the area that the tailgate mounts to the point that a tailgate can not be mounted. there is a local body shop that is willing to do the repair work but we need replacement panels. it looks like LMC Truck offers the piece here, part #19

Tailgate

I've done this once on my last K5. It was a pain in the ass for my novice ass. If you can get a professional to do..do it. It took me forever and the gate never did line up 100%. If you got the skills go for it.
