How does the GMC/Chevrolet logo attach to the aluminum trim piece?

I for a tailgate on CL for 150 and the piece looks perfect, but its for a GMC.. I need to replace my Chevrolet one on the crew cab. Is it as easy as some adhesive? Or will I have holes? The GMC one logo is on the opposite side as the Chevy one.

You should just sell the GMC piece outright and buy the Chevy piece. You can buy 3 or 4 of the Chevy trim panels for what you can sell the GMC one for.

Probably true, but I'm curious about the answer as well. I've been considering refinishing my piece, but I would have to take the chevy logo off.

Holes. The studs on the emblem are cast in to emblem itself, just like any of the other badges.

the gmc is on lest and chevy is on right .

and there is holes .
