Hi all. I live in the Netherlands and parts do not come easy here. My tailgate window crank on my 1977 K5 broke. What I understand this happens a lot.

Now I am at this point. I have a 2nd hand Clutch, a brand new crank and the lock from the old one. Now there seems to be something missing inside that actually will engage the clutch, operated by the lock. Those pasts are somewhere on the freeway. I broke the crank, making the parts probably fall to the bottom of the tailgate and out through the hinge holes while driving.

What am I missing and does somebody have a pic of that?

Crank
Clutch
Lock

You didn't ask if anyone had any spares around. I will double check the spare crank I have at the house and see if I have those components. Basically you are missing the pawl that engages the clutch, the spring for the pawl, and the snap ring that locks the clutch onto the crank assembly. I may have spare parts I could send over to you, but I don't know anything about international shipping. It will be tomorrow night before I know for sure, if I can still locate the spare. I might even be able to send them postal, but it could take a while to get them.

If you have the parts that will be amazing. And I will pay for the shipping off course. I do have paypal. I can transfer money to my paypal account from my bank and then send that over.

Not yet, but I haven't ruled it out. Right now my garage is still in major disarray due to a move late last year. This weekend I am getting a load ready for the dump and going through a couple boxes that I think have the crank in them. I will post up as soon as I find it and we can work something out.

Hoi! Don't know if this will help vriend!
